Relationship Manager/Account Executive

The RedBlack Relationship Manager is responsible for maintaining favorable relationships with new and existing clients to ensure that the organization is meeting their needs through its products and services. The Relationship Manager acts as the client advocate and works to resolve any issues or concerns to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing large more complex client accounts, reviewing and maintaining relationships with all accounts, potentially selling new business to existing accounts, and converting accounts to a higher level of managed care. May be responsible for sustaining and renewing client contracts.

Responsibilities
  • Directs and oversees an organization’s account management policies, objectives, and initiatives.
  • Develops and maintains favorable relationships with new and existing clients in order to increase revenue.
  • Handles key client accounts and develops specific account plans for the key clients
  • Ensures products and services consistently meet client needs
  • May be responsible for providing sales quotations as well as sustaining and renewing client contracts.
  • Needs to develop In-depth knowledge of RedBlack’s solution and have a good working knowledge of rebalancing and trading functions as it relates to a Registered Investment Advisory firm
  • Provide product advice to traders, Partners, Portfolio Managers etc.
  • Communicate recent and upcoming product enhancements to the client base.
  • Schedule calls and plan client onsite visits to uncover client changes, pain points, upsell opportunities and ensure full application utilization.
  • Communicate and provide feedback to development team on client requests or enhancements
  • Maintain/update Salesforce Database with all customer interaction i.e. phone calls, emails, cases, projects, etc.
  • Recognize firm wide client needs within Rebalancing and Trading at beyond.
  • Work and communicate in a professional manner with RedBlack clients and team members.
Qualification Requirements
  • Entrepreneurial-minded and thrives in a fast-paced and goal-driven environment
  • Outstanding communication (both oral and written) and collaboration skills and is able to work with a diverse internal group, get consensus, and drive client needs forward.
  • Strong customer service or client-centric focus
  • Effective planning, time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience with or understanding of basic finance and investing concepts. CFA, CFP designations a plus.
  • Salesforce experience or similar CRM system required
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Finance, Financial Planning or Accounting degree preferred)
  • 3-5 years of finance or investment exposure
  • Trading experience and/or Series 6 License (Preferred but not required)
